Biography
Born into a merchant family, hereditary honorary citizen of Petrozavodsk .
He owned a lake ship, led the food trade.
He was repeatedly elected as a public official of the Petrozavodsk district council assembly and city council.
In 1881–1888 - the mayor of Petrozavodsk. He headed the official delegation of Petrozavodsk at the ceremony of the coronation of Emperor Alexander III .
He was a member of the Petrozavodsk charitable society, was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Holy Spirit Cathedral . From 1901 he was the headman of Holy Cross Cathedral , donated a significant amount for the repair and maintenance of the temple.
He was awarded three gold medals "For Diligence."

Wife - Anna Feodorovna, nee Tikhonova (born 1846). Family Gray was a large family.
