Content

Features

There are three races in the game - dryads, elves and antes. In “The Lost World 4”, the player gradually develops a settlement of the chosen race (building various buildings, exploring new technologies, teaching residents in various professions, etc.). Directly manage the same subjects can not (with the exception of mercenaries).

Each unit in the game has its own name, many - families. The couple has a child who, after some time, is already ready to study at school and establish his own family.

Virtually every building requires an employee to function (depending on the type of building). Resources to the buildings are delivered by porters, who must also be trained (albeit least in time).

In “The Lost World 4” there are even such details of a settlement’s life as a lunch break and a night’s sleep.

A system of charisma of the ruler and contentment of life from the settlers is thought out. Homeless or unemployed quickly lose their motivation and can escape from the settlement, or become criminals.

Most new buildings or opportunities are opened through research. After the settlement has fulfilled some conditions, it can move to the next (of the three) technological level. This opens up the possibility of additional research, but it also creates some conditions (in the sense of providing settlers).

Also in the game there is such a parameter as the reputation of the gods. It can be enhanced by donating resources to the deity or by building one or more temples.

The settlement can be protected by building walls and educating the guards or paying mercenaries.

Story

This time the story began like this: blithely flying across the cloudless sky of the Lost World, the unlucky stork from the top secret genetic laboratory entered a too steep dive and dropped three items: the floppy elves got the sacred smoking room, the brisk dryads received divine eyes, and the prim’s anthins got the heavenly booth.

Having received a sacred amulet, each of the three kings imagined his race chosen, what brought the wrath of the gods to himself and his countrymen. Only the magnificent Temple of the Stork can save the day: the legend says that it will be built by the joint efforts of three proud peoples.

Races

Elves

Similar to blue bears creatures. As conceived, the games are like the main race. Women are the weaker sex. They love to eat tight and drink this thing mushroom schnapps. Be careful, the elves themselves can not meet their needs at the 2nd and 3rd levels of technology, because they themselves do not produce soap (it is made dryads), but fertilizers are successfully made on silos. Preferences in building material: stone and wood, half and half.

Dryads

Dryads are the only race in which matriarchy reigns. These creatures that are most similar to people in appearance, work and military affairs are considered to be women's tasks. Men, who are able to get only the profession "Householder", adorn all day and collect fruit. Make soap. Large cleaners. The preference in the building material is wood.

Ants

Antas are a race of anthropomorphic insects. In the first 2 parts they looked quite nice, and their architecture wore a characteristic insect imprint of the past (buildings fastened with cobwebs and something resembling beehives). In the 3rd and 4th parts, both the appearance of the race changed - it became more aggressive (spiteful big eyes and spikes through the body), and the architectural style - the buildings began to resemble human architecture more. Just after the appearance of the people, the appearance of the troops also changed. If in the first parts the Ants troops and their fleet were “genetically modified” Antes, then in the 3rd and 4th parts they became more civilized: the soldiers armed themselves with swords, throwing disks and rams and the old “live” fleet was replaced with a wooden one. Ants are ardent cigar lovers (in the first 2 parts it was their unique product that only they could produce). From the 3rd part, the Antes learned how to make 2 more unique products: energy drinks and cactus tincture. Preference in building material is stone.
