Biography

Sufiyanov Sabit Abusufyanovich was born on December 27, 1904 in the village of Safarovo, Verkhneuralsk district of the Orenburg province (now Uchaly district of Bashkortostan ). Early orphaned, brought up in the Sermenevsky orphanage.

In 1923-1928 studied at the Orenburg Bashkir Pedagogical College .

In 1928-1929 studied at the Ufa Pedagogical College.

Since 1930, he worked as executive secretary of the Uchaly district newspaper Udarsy, was his own correspondent for the republican newspaper Kyzyl Bashkortostan .

From 1933 he lived in Ufa, from 1934 he worked in the journal “ Khanek ”.

July 28, 1936, arrested on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary nationalist organization , sentenced to imprisonment for 5 years on charges under articles 58-10, 58-12. Rehabilitated on December 3, 1957 [1] .

Re-arrested on October 30, 1949. Rehabilitated on December 23, 1957.

In 1942—1946 and 1949-1955 was in exile. In 1957-1965 worked in Ufa.

Creative activities

In 1928–1930 The periodical press published poems “Yushlek Yalkyyn” (“The Flame of Youth”), “Kursh Yildar” (“Years of Struggle”), “Lyrik Kykmalar” (“Lyrical Sketches”), “Turөlül” (“Miscellaneous”). In them, the poet praises work as the basis of life and the moral foundations of society, and also criticizes bureaucracy and literary falsity.

Abus is the author of the unpublished memoirs “1925–26 yildarkanagy mines әҙәbi platforms hagynda ҫtәlektr” (“Memories of my literary platform 1925-26”) and the collection of poems “Dauyl yyry” (“Song of the Tempest”). In the poem The Song of the Storm (1931), the poet appears as a patriot who is concerned about the future of the Urals and his people. In the works that were written in prison, Abus denounces his accusers, longs for freedom, regrets the time spent in captivity in captivity and believes in the triumph of justice.

Most of the works were first published in the 1990s. In 1998 a collection of poems "Ural Mөhөbbәte" ("Love of the Urals") was published. In 2007 in the Bashkir book publishing house “Kitap” named after Zainab Biisheva the book of Abus “Notes. (Stories, diaries, letters) ”, which included previously unpublished poems and prose of the 1940s, letters and notes [2] .

Memory

Nazar Najmi wrote an essay “The Soul of a Poet”, dedicated to the tragic fate of Sabit Sufiyanov.

In the town of Uchaly, Belarus, one of the streets is named after Sufyanov Sabit.

Family

His wife is Nagima , the adopted daughter of Mazhit Gafuri .
