Al St. John (1893-1963) has about 350 works in his film biography (usually referred to as 346), but many of his silent films have not survived to this day (as indicated in the last column in the notes). In addition, even from the surviving old films, some piece of the film is sometimes missing, and this could be exactly the segment where the actor played the role, or in his initial works he often took part only in the crowd, in such cases it is now difficult to find in the flickering the crowd of the actor and it is almost impossible to prove his participation - therefore, the notes also indicate: (participation is not confirmed [1] ).
