Location
The village of Dran'kovo is located in the northeastern part of the Egoryevsky district, about 10 km north-east of the city of Yegoryevsk. 0.5 km west of the village flows the river Tsna . Altitude 142 m [2] .
Title
The names are associated with Dranko , a derivative form of the non-calendar personal name Dran [3] .
History
Until the abolition of serfdom, villagers belonged to the category of state peasants . After 1861, the village became part of the Pominovskaya volost of Egoryevsk district. The parish was located in the village of Novo-Egoryevskoe [4] .
In 1926, the village was part of the Korobatsky village council of the Pominovskaya volost of Yegoryevsk district [5] .
Until 1994, Dran'kovo was part of the Savvinsky Village Council of the Egoryevsky District, and in 1994–2006. - Savvinsky rural district [6] .
Population
In 1885, 409 people lived in the village [7] , in 1905 - 474 people (223 men, 251 women) [8] , in 1926 - 240 people (110 men, 130 women) [5] . According to the 2002 census - 1 person (1 woman) [9] .
