Biography
Born on October 20, 1914 in the village of Elnik (now in the Demyansky district of the Novgorod region) in a peasant family. Russian. After finishing 7 classes he worked on a collective farm. In 1936-1937 he served in the Red Army. Since 1937 he lived and worked in the city of Ivanovo.
Member of the Great Patriotic War since January 1942. He fought in artillery. As part of the 49th Infantry Division, formed in Ivanovo, gun commander Sergeant Vladimirov participated in the defense of Stalingrad. After demobilization in 1945 he returned to Ivanovo.
He came to work at the Ivtekmash plant, mastered the profession of a turner. Member of the CPSU since 1966. The initiator of the competition for the release of high quality products. He was the first at the plant to receive a personal brand and the right to deliver products bypassing the Quality Control Department. He actively participated in the modernization of machine tools and in the work to reduce the complexity of manufacturing textile machines. He achieved an increase in turnaround time by 35%, an increase in labor productivity higher than planned by 25% due to the use of improved working methods, and rational organization of the workplace. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 4, 1966, the title of Hero of Socialist Labor was awarded.
Later he headed a team of turners. One of the first at the plant switched to cost accounting. He led an inter-plant school to disseminate the experience of switching to self-financing. He has several inventions and rationalization proposals. He worked at the factory until his retirement in 1978, but even while on a well-deserved rest, he was a frequent guest at the factory. He was awarded the Orders of Lenin, the October Revolution, World War II degree, medals. He lived in the city of Ivanovo. He died on November 28, 1992. He was buried at the Bogorodsky (city) cemetery (plot 19).
By a resolution of the bureau of the regional committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1975, an award was established after the distinguished machine builders A. V. Vladimirov and V. A. Emelyanov [1] .
