Burrill Bernard Crohn
He was awarded the Frydenwald Medal of the American Gastroenterological Association (1953). [one]
Born into a large family of Jewish immigrants from Prussia ( Shamotsin ) and Poland ( Augustow ) - Theodor Kron (1848–1934) and Leah Baum (1858–1923), was one of twelve children [2] [3] [4] [5] .
