The Cathedral of the Holy Family ( Eng. The Cathedral Basilica of the Holy Family ) - the Catholic Cathedral in Nairobi , the capital of Kenya ; Lesser Basilica (1982); Chair of the Archbishop of Nairobi [1] . The cathedral, built in 1904, is the first stone building of the city.

The parish of the Holy Family Cathedral was established in 1904. The service is conducted in the Latin rite .
On May 6, 1980, the Cathedral was visited by Pope John Paul II [1] . On February 15, 1982, the cathedral was given the title of a minor basilica - this is the only minor basilica in Kenya [2] .
Since 2007, Cardinal John Njue has been Archbishop of Nairobi [1] .
