Biography
Born September 21, 1987 in Abilene , Texas . His father immigrated from Mexico [2] to the United States , where he met his future wife. The family moved to Sacramento , California when Ryan was eight years old. Ryan has a younger brother Stephen [3] .
The aspiring actor graduated from Sierra College in the California city of Roklin [4] . He was a good baseball player, participated in school competitions and dreamed of playing for the Yankees team. However, after a hand injury and surgery, he was forced to abandon the dream of a sports career and devote himself to the art of drama.
In addition, Ryan tried himself as a model - he posed for the advertising campaign of the famous brand Calvin Klein.
Career
In 2012, the premiere of the dance picture " Step Forward 4 " took place. In the fourth full-length film, the plot focuses on a girl named Emily ( Katherine McCormick ), who leaves the house of her wealthy parents and goes to Miami to become a professional dancer. She falls in love with the local street dancer Sean (Ryan Guzman), and is ready to go against her father for his sake.
Ryan Guzman is not a professional dancer, unlike his colleague on the set. He always engaged in amateur choreography, but, nevertheless, he performs all the dance numbers in the film himself, without doubles .
Personal life
In September 2018, it became known that the girl Ryan, the Brazilian actress Shishtiani Lopez, is expecting her first child [5] . In January 2019, the couple had a son - Mateo [6] .
