Game career

He began to play football for the children's team of FC Lepse [1] . Pupil of the football school of Kiev " Arsenal ". He spent the last year and a half of his youth at the Dynamo Kiev School of Football [1] . Once, at the request of friends, he played for the team of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the team of the German Bundeswehr . This game was attended by the Vorskla selection breeder Orest Bal, who after the match invited Anton to Poltava [1] .

In Poltava, he started with the second team, which was led by Oleg Morgun. Six months later, he made his debut in the major league [2] . From 2003 to 2005 he was a player of Vorskla. At that time in Poltava, coaches changed several times during the season. Under Vladimir Muntean was a player of the basic structure. The followers of Vladimir Fedorovich, to test the game qualities, sent the player to the double. When Viktor Nosov joined the team, Kovalevsky, who had disagreements with him, was forced to leave it [3] .

The player was leased [3] to Neftyanik-Ukrnafta , then transferred to Steel (Dneprodzerzhinsk), and then to Nikolaev .

In the winter of 2008, Kovalevsky’s agent got in touch with Ukrainian coach Anatoly Piskovets , who shortly before that had headed the Georgian champion, Olympi from the city of Rustavi. Piskovets took the player to the Commonwealth Cup , after which Kovalevsky received an invitation to try himself in Kazan “ Ruby ”. Anton went through training with this team, but it was not possible to conclude a contract due to the move of another Ukrainian striker, Sergei Rebrov, to Kazan [3] . Kovalevsky returned to Georgia. With Olimp, he finished fourth in the Georgian Championship.

In 2008, he spent some time in the Belarusian Gomel . From 2009 to 2010 he played in the Azerbaijani " Turan ". In this team, he retrained from striker to midfielder [1] .

In “Turan” he played together with the Moldavian footballer Valeriu Onile. When he returned to his homeland, he drew the attention of local breeders to Kovalevsky. So Anton ended up at Milsami [1] , from where he moved to Zimbra in 2011 [4] . As part of the Chisinau team, he twice became the bronze medalist of the Moldavian Championship (2011, 2012), but did not become a full-fledged player in the starting lineup [5] .

In 2012 he returned to Ukraine. He played in the teams of the lower divisions " Olympic " (Donetsk), " Arsenal " (Bila Tserkva) and amateur - " Unity " (Pliski). He tried his hand at Belshin [6] and Poltava [7] .

In September 2013, at the invitation of Roman Pokora, he became a player in the Georgian “ Guria ” [8] , which he subsequently left before the end of the championship due to the club's leadership not fulfilling its financial obligations [9] . For this reason, three Ukrainians - Pokora coach and players Kovalevsky and Shumeyko sued the club [9] .

In January 2014, he kept fit in Kiev Lokomotiv [9] .
