Game career

In adult teams, he began to play in 1985 in the Ternopil Niva . In 1987, as part of this team, he became the silver medalist of the Ukrainian SSR zone of the second Soviet league [1] . After this success, he was invited to Tavria , the first league team. Having played 10 games in the Simferopol team, he has already returned to the second league for the campaign of the season. He continued his career first in Desna , and later in Kiev SKA .

In 1993, he returned to Niva, who at that time played in the Ukrainian Premier League. He made his debut in the top division on October 5, 1993 in the game against Zaporizhzhya “ Torpedo ” (0: 1). He played in six games in the Ternopil team, entering the field in each game for no more than 20 minutes. In the spring of 1994 he moved to Bukovina , where he played another 8 matches in the major league. At the end of the season, the team from Chernivtsi left the top division. Kozub spent in Bukovina another half of the season, and then continued his performances in various amateur groups.
