Svetlana Igorevna Konovalova (born February 10, 1990 in the town of Shilovo, Ryazan Region ) is a Russian biathlete and skier , champion of the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi in the mixed relay for cross-country skiing and 12.5 km biathlon [1] . In total, she won five awards at home games: two gold, two silver and one bronze [2] ; in the 5 km cross country ski race she became fifth. Bronze medalist at the 2013 Sollefteo World Championships in the 10 km biathlon race. She won the IPC Biathlon World Cup twice ( 2011/2012 , 2013/2014 ). Master of Sports of Russia of international class .

Before the relay race at the 2014 Paralympic Games, she never won international starts.
Family
After birth with a severe spinal injury, Sveta was left in an orphanage. When she turned 23, Svetlana accidentally found out that she had a sister, Eugene, and they met. Evgenia Kulikova was a volunteer of the Paralympics in Sochi [4] .
