Biography
Comes from a noble family. In 1919-1920 he was a member of the Kiev Provincial Committee of the Left Social Revolutionary Party , edited the newspaper "Struggle" . In 1921, the Cheka was arrested, after which he became an employee of the state security organs.
He worked with agent data from M. E. Yalovoy (later drew up an indictment in his case), I. I. Girnyak (later interrogated him), A. A. Bilenky-Berezinsky [1] and others. Among others interrogated F. l. Ernst , O. Vishnya , G. A. Kostyuk , N. I. Shraga .
He lived in Kiev, was at the post of acting head of the 2nd branch of the Secret Political Department of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR. Then, before his arrest, he worked as head of the Secret Political Department of the State Security Directorate of the NKVD of the Ukrainian SSR .
He was arrested on July 23, 1937. Condemned on September 7, 1937 by the Field Session of the Military Collegium of the USSR Supreme Court under article 54-1 “a” of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to the death penalty - execution. On the basis of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On the rehabilitation of victims of political repression in Ukraine" of April 17, 1991, he was posthumously rehabilitated.
