La Campana ( Spanish: Cerro La Campana ) is a mountain in the Coastal Cordillera ( Andes ) mountain range in Chile.

The mountain is located on the border between the province of Quillota and the new province of Marga Marga in the Valparaiso region, in the La Campana National Park. The height of the mountain is 1880 meters above sea level [2] .
La Campana National Park was established on October 17, 1967 and covers an area of 8 thousand hectares [3] .
In the national park, there are such plants as Notofagus (Nothofagus macrocarpa) , Peumus (Peumus boldus) , Quillaya soap (Quillaja saponaria) , Caustic litrea (Lithraea caustica) , Cinnamon , Hawthorn , Chubian yubeya (Jubaea chilensis) , Puya chilea ( Puya ) , several species of cacti , including Chilean echinopsis (Echinopsis chiloensis) .
The fauna is represented by mammals such as Andean fox (Lycalopex culpaeus) , South American fox (Pseudalopex griseus) and small grison (Galictis cuja) , birds such as eagle owl (Bubo virginianus magellanicus) , Turko (Pteroptochos polymapus megapus) , a giant hummingbird (Patagona gigas) and a Chilean pigeon (Patagioenas araucana) , as well as reptiles , amphibians and invertebrates .
On August 17, 1834, the naturalist Charles Darwin , who traveled around the world on the Beagle , climbed Mount La Campana [4] .
