BRM P207 - British Racing Motors team chassis in Formula 1 , used by the team in its last season - 1977 .
History
In the 1977 Formula 1 season, the British Racing Motors team was able to conduct only ten races out of seventeen (nine of them on the BRM P207) and put only one pilot in them. At the Brazilian Grand Prix, it was Australian Larry Perkins . Starting the 22nd, Perkins drove only one lap due to water leakage and engine overheating. The following BRM pilots who drove to P207 - Connie Anderson ( Sweden ), Guy Edwards ( United Kingdom ) and Teddy Pilett ( Belgium ) - were not even able to qualify for the Grand Prix they participated in. The Italian Grand Prix in 1977 was the last Formula 1 race in the history of the British Racing Motors team .
