Alexander Yakovlevich Troitsky (1894, Ryazan province - April 7, 1928 ) - a Soviet philosopher, ranked among the so-called Bukharin "red professors" [1] .

Biography
Born in the family of a tanner. He graduated from the Ryazan City College and the Ryazan Teachers' Seminary, after which he taught in the village for two years.
In 1915 he entered Moscow University , but a few months later he was mobilized in the army.
In May 1917 he joined the Bolshevik Party. In October 1917, a delegate to the II All-Russian Congress of Soviets of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies in Petrograd. During the elections to the Constituent Assembly, he was included in the Bolshevik list in the Smolensk province.
Member of the Revolution of 1917 and the Civil War in Russia.
After a civilian, he graduated from the Institute of Red Professors (IKP), after which he remained there as a teacher, became a member of the board, vice-rector and secretary of the party organization, deputy head of the philosophical department of the institute.
At the same time he conducted scientific work at the Lenin Institute .
Since 1926, a member of the editorial board of the philosophical and socio-economic journal " Under the Banner of Marxism ". At the XIV Congress of the CPSU (b) (1925) he was elected a member of the Central Control Commission of the CPSU (b) [2] . At the beginning of 1928 he headed one of the Agitprop divisions of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks.
Supporter of AM Deborin [3] .
Cremated in the First Moscow (Don) crematorium. The urn with its ashes was buried in the new Donskoy cemetery, in the building of the former crematorium (columbarium No. 1, section 12, lower row).
