Jack Raynor (born January 23, 1992 ) is an Irish actor best known for his participation in the films Transformers: Age of Extinction , Macbeth , and Sing Street . Winner of 6 film awards and 5 nominations for various film awards [1] .

Biography
Jack Raynor was born in Colorado, USA. He is the nephew of actor Paul Reiner. His mother, Tara O'Brady, is a human rights defender from Ireland. Jack moved with his mother to County Wicklow, Ireland when he was two years old. The boy was raised by mother and grandparents: Pat and Damien Raynor [2] . Jack now has dual citizenship: USA and Ireland.
Interest in acting arose in Jack after his first small role in the film "Country", shot by Kevin Liddy in 1999. In 2004, Jack moved to Dublin, enrolling at Belvedere College . There he takes part in many theatrical productions.
Career
In early 2010, Jack starred in the Kirsten Sheridan movie “The Doll House,” which debuted at the Berlinale in 2012 [3] . At the end of 2011, Jack played a major role in Leonard Abrahamson’s What Richard did, which was shown at the Tribeca festival . For his work in the film, Jack received the IFTA (Irish Film and Television Awards) in the category "Best Actor". This award helped Jack get a role in DreamWorks comedy drama " Well done Father " and work on the same set with Vince Vaughn . Then the actor was noticed by Michael Bay , and Jack’s next project was the fantastic action movie Transformers: Age of Extinction , the fourth film from the Transformers series [4] . The film was released in 2014, and Mark Wahlberg and Nikola Peltz also played in it. All three signed a contract for 3 films, thereby paving the way for the new Transformers trilogy. As a result, Transformers raised just over $ 1.1 billion, becoming the highest grossing movie to be released in China [5] .
A few days after the end of the Transformers press tour, Jack Raynor flew to London to shoot Andy Serkis 's Mowgli film. In December 2018, Netflix streaming service released the picture. Together with Jack, actors such as Christian Bale , Benedict Cumberbatch and Cate Blanchett took part in the filming.
Raynor also starred in Gerald Barrett’s Glasland in the company of Tony Collett and Will Poulter . For the role of a taxi driver who is trying to put his life in order, the actor received a special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival [6] . After the film “Glasland”, Jack played in the romantic comedy “ London Vacations ”, based on real events that took place in 1945 in the royal family in London [7] .
The painting " Macbeth ", created with the participation of Jack Raynor, as well as Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard , was awarded an unprecedented 10-minute ovation at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival [8] . The film premiered in Edinburgh in September 2015. Raynor’s next project, Sing Street [9] , was first shown at the Sundance Film Festival .
