Echthrodesis lamorali (lat.) - a species of wingless riders from the family Platygastridae ( Scelioninae , or Scelionidae , according to other classifications), the only one in the genus Echthrodesis Masner, 1968 . Endoparasitoids of eggs of spiders of the coasts of South Africa [1] .

South Africa ( Western Cape , South Africa , Kommetjie, Cape Peninsula ) [1] .
Description
Small hymenopteran insects that have no wings. The length of the compact body is from 1.1 to 1.5 mm. Mandibles with 3 prongs. The antennae of the females are 11-segmented (males consist of 12 segments). The mandibular palps are 4-segmented, the lower labial - consist of 2 segments. The main color is brownish-black (for males the legs and antennae are lighter, yellowish-brown). The eyes are large, located on the sides of the head [1] .
Endoparasitoids of eggs of coastal sea spiders Desis formidabilis ( Desidae ) and Amaurobioides africanus ( Anyphaenidae ). Flooding of coastal stones among which they live is able to survive. Males develop faster than females, and coming out of spider eggs, compete with each other in the struggle for sexual partner. The taxon Echthrodesis is sister to the three genera of stselionids: Neobaeus (New Zealand; their owners are unknown); Mirobaeoides ( Australia ; parasitoids of spider eggs) and Embidobia (an almost cosmopolitan genus; parasitoids of embryo eggs) [1] [2] [3] . The species E. lamorali was named after Bruno Lamoral ( Bruno Lamoral , Natal Museum, Pietermaritzburg , South Africa ), which studied spiders on the coasts of South Africa and found a typical series of riders [3] .
