In June 1735, Mullakaev, along with other foremen, went after Kirilov with the goal of joining a campaign to the mouth of the Or River. But he was captured by the rebelled Bashkirs and was released on his word of honor to never again help the authorities. However, Kidryak Mullakaev did not keep his word, and having gone to Ufa, he told the authorities about everything that he had learned about the Bashkirs-rebels while in their camp [2] . During the work of the expedition, he was also one of the informants of the famous local historian P. I. Rychkov , who, referring to him, wrote that even before the Russian craftsmen built the Ufa fortress, “a great city was located in this area, which stretched up the Belaya River to the mouth of the Ufa River” [3] .

In the spring of 1774, Tarkhan Mullakaev went over to the side of government troops and on April 8 defeated a rebel detachment led by V. I. Tornov . In the summer he again goes over to the rebel side. On July 5, 1774, near the Sterlitamak pier of the Ufa province, Kidryash Mullakaev took part in the battle with the tsarist troops under the command of P.M. Golitsyn . Somewhat later, along with Kaip Ziyambetev, he again sided with the government troops and in August 1774, Mullakaev’s detachment captured one of the Pugachev colonels, Kanzafar Usaev . In this regard, Major General P. S. Potemkin on August 10, 1774 sent Kidryasa Mullakaev a "commendation sheet" and a warrant in which he wrote:

“And as a reward for your services, in the name of our sovereign, I am sending fifty rubles, encouraging, moreover, that if you turn out to be farther to the service of e.iv. zeal and zeal to pacify the rebellious Bashkirs, as well as bring their superiors, somehow you will be given a gold medal as a sign of your dignity. On the contrary, the Bashkir army is encouraged that all those who come with repentance for the crime before Her Majesty should come to me and their sin will be forgiven. On the contrary, all sorts of things (which) will not pacify after September will be exterminated ”
