Biography
Childhood
Born on January 1, 1934 in the village of Khidi-Khutor, Kurchaloevsky District, Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in the family of Edilsultan and Salamat Shaipovs. February 23, 1944 was deported .
His family was placed in the village of Kuropatkino, Kokchetav region . Father dug a dugout in which they lived. On the way, the mother caught a cold and died a year later. A year later, his father died. Said Shaipov was eleven years old when responsibility fell on him for his 7-year-old sister Maidat and 4-year-old brother Leid. There were no relatives nearby. To feed his brother and sister, he took on any work.
In the spring of 1946, the children went to Kokchetav . We lodged for the night under the porch of one of the houses. The night was very cold, and Said's younger brother began to cry. The house, under the porch of which the children spent the night, turned out to be the house-museum of Valerian Kuybyshev . The director of the museum was the sister of Kuybysheva Elena Vladimirovna. She heard crying, brought the children into the house, warmed, washed and fed. Said and his brother and sister lived in the Museum House for more than two years. Often, her elder sister Nadezhda Vladimirovna came to Elena Vladimirovna. She brought sweets to the children, fiddling with them for a long time [1] .
Famous people often came to the museum [1] : Alexandra Mikhailovna Kollontai , wife of the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Bulgaria Georgy Dimitrov Vera Mikhailovna Dimitrova, wife of the Chairman of the OGPU Felix Dzerzhinsky Sofia Dzerzhinsky, wife of the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Romania Nicolae Ceausescu Elena Ceausescu .
Due to a serious illness, Elena Vladimirovna was forced to leave for Moscow for long-term treatment. She had to send her children to an orphanage .
He spent four years in an orphanage. Said began to engage in amateur performances , became the soloist of the choir.
Ensemble Work
After the orphanage he graduated from the Karaganda construction school, having received the specialty of "stucco-sculptor." In his free time, he took vocal lessons from a professional teacher. But at this time, the process of rehabilitation of repressed peoples began . Alexander Aleppo and Abdul-Hamid Khamidov began to recreate the Chechen-Ingush State Song and Dance Ensemble. There was a huge competition, which, however, Shaipov was easy. On August 16, 1957, he became the soloist of the choir of the Chechen-Ingush ensemble.
Said Shaipov, recalled those years:
| There was not a single concert, so that the audience, standing, with long applause, would not welcome the artists, do not ask for autographs. There were frequent cases when people kissed the Circassian floors, tearing off a piece of cloth from clothes [1] . |
The ensemble toured with great success throughout the Soviet Union and abroad. The dancer of the Vainakh ensemble, Vakha Idrisov, said:
| In the late 60s and early 70s, it was almost impossible for a simple citizen of the USSR to go abroad. And there is nothing to talk about Chechens. Even Chechen athletes were allowed into international tournaments very rarely. And we, as part of the ensemble, traveled almost the entire globe, well, except that we were not in Australia and in the Arctic. The dancers were recognized on the street right away - we were smart, well-dressed, with good manners. But there wasn’t any foppishness — we knew that we represented the entire Chechen-Ingush people, and this imposed a tremendous responsibility on behavior [1] . |
The ensemble included famous dancers Sayd-Emin Yanurkaev, Vakha Dakashev, Shita Edisultanov, Sultan Abdusalamov, Vakha Idrisov, Zulay Sardalova , Marzhan Isakova; singers Sultan Magomedov, Valid Dagaev , Movlid Burkaev, Said Shaipov; musicians Umar Dimaev , Ramzan Paskaev. The ensemble included representatives of other nations: Galina Bukharova (later Betieva), Tamara Sinyavskaya (Dugaeva), Alexander Petrov (pseudonym Ansar Khashumov), Vladimir Zorich, Juliet Kukishvili and others.
The collective was strongly supported by the Minister of Culture of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic Vakha Tataev . He was a dramatic director and artist who graduated from GITIS . Sometimes he himself rehearsed.
In 1967-1978, the director of the Vainakh ensemble was Musa Geshaev . Under his leadership, the ensemble achieved great success, became one of the most successful national dance groups of the USSR. From the Bolshoi Theater, Geshaev invited the chief master of national costumes Elvira Mutusheva, who sewed very beautiful costumes for the ensemble. The Abkhaz choreographer Georgy Kaplanovich Dzyba was invited, greatly raising the level of dancing.
Shaipov sang in different languages: Kazakh , Tatar , Lithuanian , Chinese . He was invited for a joint duet by the well-known singers of the USSR at that time, folk artists of the USSR Ermek Serkebaev , Roza Baglanova , Bibigul Tulegenova . In the years 1968-1970 at the All-Union company "Melody" came out three giant discs and many minions with songs by Said Shaipov, which quickly dispersed.
In 1970, while on tour in Kokchetav, Said Shaipov unearthed and brought home the remains of his mother in a usual suitcase to rebury, fulfilling her last will. Musa Geshaev wrote poems about this, which was later written the song "Mountains, mountains" [1] :
... Once I met a friend with a suitcase: - Well, what are you driving, have you become rich? “I dug up the remains of my mother,” he answered, “I'm taking them home to betray their land.”
In the early 1970s, the ensemble was renamed the Vainakh ensemble. Its number reached 125 people. It was difficult to tour such a large troupe. Therefore, the vocal group was transferred to the Chechen-Ingush Philharmonic. The ensemble included a choir of 6 people, which included Sultan Magomedov, Valid Dagaev, Said Shaipov, Alikhan Imagozhev, Baudi Khatuev, Shamsuddin Sardalov.
Said Shaipov was a laureate of many shows, festivals and competitions. November 22, 1982 he was awarded the title Honored Artist of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, and February 18, 2008 - People's Artist of the Chechen Republic. He worked as a choir lead singer until the start of the first military campaign .
