Biography
Born in 1919 in the city of Kokand, Ferghana region of the RSFSR (now in Uzbekistan).
In 1926, the family moved to the city of Kirovabad, Azerbaijan SSR. Since 1926, the working link of the Martunino grape farm of the USSR Ministry of Food Industry. In 1944, 250 centners per hectare received a grape crop, in 1949 - 199.9 centners per hectare on an area of 3.7 hectares of irrigated vineyards. In 1956, the link led by Amiryan received 177 centners of grapes per hectare, and Goarik Amiryan personally received 240 centners. In 1957, Amiryan received 290 centners of grapes per hectare. Applied new methods of varietal grape farming, depending on climatic conditions. In 1953-1958 she participated in the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 4, 1950 , Amiryan Goarik Hambartsumovna was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle " for receiving high grape yields in irrigated vineyards.
Actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the Supreme Council of the Azerbaijan SSR of the 5th convocation. Member of the Martuni district committee and the Nagorno-Karabakh regional committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
She died in 1987 in the village of Gish, Martuninsky district, NKAO of the Azerbaijan SSR.
