It flows through the territory of the Sursky rural settlement . Takes North Pogantsevskoye to the north of the swamp. It flows into Pinega on the right bank 399 km from its mouth. At the mouth of the river are the villages of Ostrov and Gorodetsk (Poganets). The river is 64 km long. Inflows: Ananyin , Meva , Puzhara , Shuboya , Chukhcha , Panfilov, Birch, Senka , Kiy , Alder , Prelka , Rzhavets , East Bolshoi, Maly.
