Getting
- In nature, there is a mineral lacargiite - CaZrO 3 with impurities of tin and titanium [1] . It has a gray, yellow-brown color. Hardness on the Mohs scale is 6–7 and the stroke color is white. The crystals are transparent elongated, massive yellow crystals can also form in the form of a thin crust along the mineral.
Physical Properties
Calcium zirconate forms colorless crystals of rhombic syngony , space group P bnm , cell parameters a = 0.5556 nm, b = 0.5715 nm, c = 0.7960 nm, Z = 4 [2] .
Not soluble in water.
