Geography
The commune is located approximately 340 km southeast of Paris , 50 km northeast of Besançon , 23 km east of Vesoul [1] .
The Onyon River flows in the west of the commune, and the River in the south.
History
During the French Revolution, the commune was called Le Val-de-Sèy ( French: Le Val-de-Scey ).
