History
In the summer of 1929, the Kudymkar vicariate of the Perm diocese was formed to combat the renewalism strong in these parts, but after 1931 no bishops were appointed here [1] .
It was formed by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church of March 19, 2014 by separation from the Perm diocese with the inclusion in the then formed Perm Metropolis [2] .
In Vereshchagin, Dean Archpriest Boris Kitsko created a shelter for 160 abandoned children. At the same time, Father Boris is the rector of a single-faith parish [3] .
