Biography
He was educated at the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy (now the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy ), in which, after graduating from the course in 1876, he was left to improve the therapy and was appointed assistant at the clinic of Sergei Petrovich Botkin .
On July 22, 1876, he was sent, of his own free will, to Serbia, to the mobile hospital of the Red Cross, and here he worked for 5 months as a surgeon under the supervision of Professor S.P. Kolomnin , and as a therapist.
During the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878) he was sent to the Danube Army.
I got diphtheria , examining a sick child, and died in St. Petersburg . He was buried in the cemetery of the Novodevichy Convent in St. Petersburg [1] .
