Biography

The representative of the noble noble family Ordin-Nashchokin . The only son of landowner Ivan Denisovich Lesser Ordin-Nashchokin, cousin of the great diplomat Afanasy Lavrent'evich Ordin-Nashchokin .

In 1659, a nobleman B.I. Ordin-Nashchokin, who received the title of governor of Kadomsky , accompanied A.L. Ordin-Nashchokin to talks with Swedish representatives in the village of Thomsdorf (on the Western Dvina River) to sign a protocol (known as the Thomsdorf Protocol ) about continuation of the Veliesarskogo truce .

In 1660, Bogdan Ordin-Nashchokin was appointed commander in Yuriev Livonian (Tartu) . In 1661, after the conclusion of the Kardis Treaty between Russia and Sweden, all Baltic cities and lands occupied by the Russians during the war were returned to the Swedish administration. Boris Yu. Ordin-Nashchokin, Yuryevsky voevode cleared the city and brought the city treasury out of Yuriev and other Livonian cities occupied by Russians to Pskov .

In 1662, Bogdan Ivanovich Ordin-Nashchokin was sent as the second ambassador with Grigory Borisovich Nashchokin to Denmark , and then traveled to Holland with an independent task. On the way, B. I. Ordin-Nashchokin visited the Count of Oldenburg with some kind of secret mandate. At the beginning of 1663, he arrived in The Hague , where, on the royal name, he offered the Dutch states to remain friendly with Russia and informed the Dutch merchants, who had large trade volumes in Russia, that duties were set for all goods imported into Russian possessions. At the end of 1663, B. I. Ordin-Nashchokin returned from abroad to Moscow.

In 1664, Bogdan Ordin-Nashchokin was appointed to the Voivodeship in Polotsk , where he remained until the beginning of 1665 .

In 1666, he, together with A. L. Ordin-Nashchokin, was sent as a member of the Russian delegation for negotiations with Polish-Lithuanian representatives at Smolensk , participated in negotiations in the village of Andrusovo and at the conclusion of the Andrusovo truce . After returning to Moscow, he was awarded the rank of Duma nobleman. In 1667, Bogdan Ordin-Nashchokin was sent to Warsaw to ratify the peace treaty and in the same year he returned back to Moscow.

In 1668, Bogdan Ordin-Nashchokin was in Voivodship in Vyatka . In 1673 he was appointed governor of Olonets , where he stayed until 1677 . The new governor began to fight against abuses in the collection of customs duties. In addition to his political activities, the voivode helped in the search for minerals in every possible way. So he helped the Novgorod guest Semyon Gavrilov, who was conducting a search for copper in Tolvui parish.

In 1679, he was sent to the Voivodship to the Northern Dvina, where he rewrote the military people of the " infantry formation ", was engaged in strengthening Arkhangelsk and supplying it with military reserves.

In 1681 B. I. Ordin-Naschokin was recalled from Dvina to Moscow. This is the last mention of it.
