Architecture
The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built on the site of a lost wooden church of the 16th – 17th centuries. The five-domed cathedral is made of red brick. It has decorative elements: arcature-columnar belts, horizontal traction panels, etc.
It stands out for its conciseness of decor, as it was built by the whole world. Partially preserved temple murals.
It has three thrones:
- The throne in the name of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary;
- The throne in the name of St. Nicholas, Archbishop Mir Lycian, the miracle worker;
- The throne is the name of the righteous Godfather Joachim and Anna.
The four-tier bell tower is square. The third and fourth tiers are decorated with columns.
History
The church was built in 1812 at the expense of parishioners. Located in the village of Nikola-Telyakovo. She had two wooden chapels located on the big Poshekhonsky road; one is near the village of Telyakovo, the other is near the village of Pershino.
Church land was 40 dess. 2193 sq. M. fathoms. There was a church wooden house for the residence of a priest. Church capital in tickets 1105 rubles. Cause but the state is supposed to be: a priest and a psalm-reader. The share capital - 1932 rubles. State salary to the clergy 392 rubles. (1908)

There was a parish school at the church.
