bTV Comedy ( BBC Comedy ) is a Bulgarian entertainment television channel, part of the bTV Media Group media holding. Broadcasts since 1997, was previously known as the "Triad TV" and GTV.

History
In 1997, the triad Sofia television channel, which was part of Triada Communications, began broadcasting, replacing the Bulgarian version of the French TV5 Monde . Through the efforts of Krasimir Gergov, some CNN International programs appeared on the channel, dubbed into Bulgarian.
In 2005, this Bulgarian CNN “clone” was renamed GTV, which stands for The Good Television and Gergov TV. Broadcasting was carried out exclusively within the vicinity of Sofia. The broadcasting network was composed of comedy films and television series. On October 1, 2009, after the change of ownership, the channel received its current name bTV Comedy . Since October 7, 2012 it broadcasts in 16: 9 format.
Broadcast Technology
Comedy's bTV broadcasts are available over cable and IPTV , as well as through the Astra 1G , Intelsat 12 and Hellas Sat 2 satellites.
