The Max Bell Center is a hockey arena located in the Radisson Heights , southeastern neighborhood of Calgary , Alberta , Canada . Named after the publisher, philanthropist and famous businessman in Calgary, George Maxwell Bell ( born George Maxwell "Max" Bell ).

During the XV Winter Olympic Games in 1988, the Max Bell Center hosted demonstration competitions in short track and curling [2] . Currently, the center of Max Bell is the home arena for Calgary Canucks [3] , the hockey team from the Alberta Junior League AJHL ( Eng. Alberta Junior Hockey League ) [4] . The Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League , the Alberta Lacrosse League Box Competition, is also held here. Every year in December, the Max Bell center becomes the main venue for the Mac's Midget AAA World Invitational Tournament [5] .
