Lidia Vasilievna Sokhan ( Ukrainian: Lidiya Vasilievna Sokhan ) (born December 1, 1924 , the village of Malchikha , Novosibirsk Region , RSFSR ) is a Soviet and Ukrainian philosopher and sociologist , corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine .

Biography
In 1946 , studies at the Faculty of History at the Novosibirsk Pedagogical Institute were completed . In the period 1961 - 1988 worked at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, since 1969 she was the head of the department of social psychology of this institute. From 1988 to 1994 she was the main research fellow at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 1994, she began to occupy the position of adviser to the directorate of the same scientific institution. Since 1990 , is a corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine.
