In the second training session, the condition of the track improved, the teams started the familiar program of tuning cars and evaluating the effectiveness of two rubber compounds over a long distance.

The Lotus and Caterham sorted out the problems that arose in the morning and actually lost the session, but on the Red Bull and Toro Rosso cars, the Renault power plant worked without serious problems - motorists clearly made progress compared to winter tests.

Not without errors and crashes - the development of a new braking system brake-by-wire It is not easy. At the end of the Lotus session, Grosjean pulled to the side on a straight line, the car hooked on the barrier and flew into the safety zone with a broken suspension.
