Biography
Representative of the princely family of the Gagarin ( Rurikovich ). The eldest son of the son of the boyars and the governor, Prince Athanasius Fedorovich Gagarin .
In 1636, during a trip of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, solicitor Prince Pyotr Gagarin was left in Moscow with the boyar Fedor Ivanovich Sheremetev .
The boyar books of 1636 - 1638 are mentioned in the rank of steward . In 1639, Prince Peter Gagarin " spent the night and slept " at the tombs of Tsars Tsarevich Ivan and Vasily Mikhailovich .
In 1665 - 1667 P.A. Gagarin was in the voivodship in Narym , in 1667 - 1670 - the voivode in Berezovo .
He died in 1670 , leaving two sons: Ivan and Matvey .
