Pierre-Alexander Rousseau (born October 6, 1979 , Drummonville, Quebec , Canada ) is a Canadian freestyler and participant in the 2010 Olympic Games . Winner and winner of world championships. Multiple freestyle world cup winner and medalist. Six-time champion of Canada.

Biography
Pierre-Alexander Russo is the speaker of the Spinal Cord Research Foundation. Professional speeches are one of the sportsman’s hobbies. Other hobbies include skydiving and road biking . His sports idols are Jean-Luc Brassard and Lance Armstrong [1] .
Sports career
Pierre-Alexander Russo has been playing in the World Cup since the 1996-1997 season . The first podium at the World Cup stages - the second place in the parallel mogul - was submitted to him in the 1998-1999 season in Steamboat ( USA ). According to the results of the next season, the athlete became the third in the Mogul, having won during it the second and third places in Livigno ( Italy ) and Deer Valley (USA), respectively. He also became third in the season 2000-2001 , with three podiums per season: second place in Inavashito and Lizuna Kogen ( Japan ), third place in Himos ( Finland ). In January 2002, he received a serious neck injury, due to which he was forced to miss most of the 2001-2002 season . In the next season, he climbed the podium six times at the stages of the World Cup, which ultimately allowed him to become the second in the overall standings in the mogul and the fourth in the parallel mogul. Among the subsequent results are two prizes in the 2003-2004 season , one in 2005-2006 . In the 2006-2007 season, Rousseau became third in the parallel mogul and 5th in the mogul, having won two medals in the cup stages during the season. The best result of the next season was gold at the stage in Tignes ( France ). He became 4th according to the results of the 2008-2009 season with three podiums during the season and an injury received at the final stage [1] .
Russo took part in six world championships. In 1999, he became the 17th in the parallel Mogul, in 2001 he became the 9th in the parallel Mogul and won the silver medal in the Mogul, in 2003 the 8th in the parallel Mogul and the 32nd in the Mogul, in 2005 - 7 th in both disciplines. In 2007, Rousseau won the gold medal in the Mogul and became the 9th in the parallel Mogul, in 2009 he became the 17th in the Mogul. At the Olympic Games, Pierre-Alexander Russo made his debut in 2010 , where he became 5th in the Mogul [1] .
