After graduating in 1952 from the Artillery Academy. F.E. Dzerzhinsky was left in it for teaching at the Department of Flight Theory and Aerodynamics of rockets. In 1955, A. I. Kitov, N. P. Buslenko, was invited by the scientific director of the Computing Center No. 1 of the USSR Ministry of Defense (CC No. 1 of the USSR Ministry of Defense) as a senior research fellow to work at this secret research and production center. A.I. Kitov favored his talented subordinate, appointing him a year later the head of the laboratory ( 1956 ), and soon the head of the department of mathematical modeling. Since 1960 , N.P. Buslenko, deputy head of the CC No. 1 of the USSR Ministry of Defense. In 1960, N. P. Buslenko was appointed first deputy head of the Central Research Institute No. 45 of the USSR Ministry of Defense for scientific research. In 1965, Colonel N. P. Buslenko was appointed to the post of head of the Central Research Institute of 27 MOs (former VTs No. 1 of the USSR Ministry of Defense, military unit 01168), where he worked for about two years. Buslenko was a staunch supporter of A.I. Kitov's project on the creation in the USSR of a Unified State Network of Computing Centers (EGCC) to manage the economy of the whole country using a global computer network, which A.I. Kitov sent to the Central Committee of the CPSU N.S. Khrushchev in 1959

At the end of the sixties at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology under the leadership of Nikolai Panteleimonovich Buslenko, a department was established to deal with tasks in the field of control and mathematical modeling of complex systems.

In 1968-1977 - Head of the Laboratory of the Scientific Research Institute of Automatic Equipment of the USSR Ministry of Radio Industry.

In 1972-1977 - Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Engineering of the Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after I. M. Gubkin , created with his direct participation. [3]
