Babiker Avadalla ( March 2, 1917 , Goetheina , White Nile , Anglo-Egyptian Sudan - January 17, 2019 , Dublin Ireland [1] ) - Sudanese politician and public figure. From May 25 to October 28, 1969 he headed the government of Sudan.

Biography
He graduated from the law school of the Gordon Memorial College in 1940, then studied at Khartoum University , where he received a master's degree in law. In 1954 he was elected speaker of the first parliament of the country, from 1956 to November 1958 he worked as a judge, later he was a member of the Supreme Court of the country, but was expelled from there after a coup, as a result of which General Abboud came to power. In October 1964, he took an active part in the next Sudanese revolution, which overthrew the Abbud regime, and from December of that year headed the Supreme Court, remaining in this position until 1966.
Supporting the Sudanese Communists, Avadalla initiated the illegal parliamentary decision of December 1965 banning the Sudanese Communist Party , but was forced to resign when the country's Supreme State Council revoked this recognition. After the next revolution, on May 25, 1969, he received the post of Prime Minister (holding it until October 28, 1969) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Sudan. On October 28 of the same year, he received the posts of Minister of Justice (held until October 1971) and Deputy Chairman of the Revolutionary Council (held until July 1970). From October 1971 to May 1972 he was Vice President of Sudan, after which he resigned and emigrated to Egypt .
At the end of the 20th century he emigrated to Western Europe.
He died on January 17, 2019 in Dublin in Ireland.
