Mostovskoy district is an administrative-territorial unit within the Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, which existed in 1935-1963. The center of the district until 1949 was the village of Mostovskoye , and since 1949 it has been the village of Marayskoye (in 1958 it was renamed Mostovskoye).

History
By the resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of January 18, 1935, the Mostovskoy district was formed within the Chelyabinsk region. The area included 22 village councils. From Mokrousovsky District transferred Barnaulsky, Belovo, Bolshepesyanovsky, Verhnesuersky Dmitriev, Durakovsky, Zalozhinsky, Kruglovskaya, Krutihinsky, Lapushinsky , Malopesyanovsky, Maraysky , St. Michael , Molotovsk Mostovskoy , Novotroitsky, Oshurkovsky , Prosekovsky, and Serodkinsky Sungurovsky village councils ; from Belozersky district - Shastovsky and Shmakovsky village councils.
By the decree of the Presidium of the Mostovsky District Executive Committee of July 20, 1935, the Uralskiy Selsovet was formed.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Chelyabinsk Regional Executive Committee of March 12, 1936, the Bolshepesyanovsky Village Soviet was abolished.
By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of December 27, 1939, the Belovsky, Durakovsky, Lapushinsky, Malopesyanovsky and Sungurovsky village councils were transferred to the Mokrousky district.
As of April 1, 1940, the district included 17 village councils: Barnaul, Verkhnyuersky, Dmitrievsky, Zalozhinsky, Kruglovsky, Krutikhinsky, Maraysky, Mikhailovsky, Molotovsky, Mostovskoy, Novotroitsky, Oshurkovsky, Prosekovsky, Seredkinsky, Uralsky, Shastovsky, Hastovsky.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 6, 1943, the Mostovskoy District was included in the newly formed Kurgan Region.
By the decision of the Kurgan Regional Executive Committee No. 166 dated April 8, 1949, the district center was moved to the village of Maraiskoye.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of June 14, 1954, the following were merged:
- Shastovsky and Shmakovsky village councils in one - Shastovsky
- Krutikhinsky, Oshurkovsky and Prosekovsky village councils in one - Oshurkovsky
- Mikhailovsky and Novotroitsky village councils in one - Novotroitsky
- Dmitrievsky and Mostovskoy village councils in one - Mostovskoy
- Zalozhinsky, Maraysky and Molotovsky village councils in one - Maraysky
- Krutikhinsky, Oshurkovsky and Prosekovsky village councils in one - Oshurkovsky
By the decision of the Kurgan Regional Executive Committee No. 407 of July 16, 1954, the following are listed:
- The village of Razdolye and the village of Shchukin from the Oshurkovsky Village Council to the Verkhovuersky Village Council.
- The village of Kurbiennoe from the Ural village council to the Shastovsky village council.
By the decision of the Kurgan regional executive committee number 185 of April 26, 1956, the center of the Ural village council was moved from p. Ural to the village of Russia-Molotov; from the Maraisky Village Council are listed in the Ural Village Council D. B. Molotov, D. M. Molotov, p. R. Molotov, D. Nykhalovo.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of June 14, 1956, the Barnaul and Maraisky village councils were united into one — the Maraisky.
By the decision of the Kurgan regional executive committee number 228 of June 4, 1958, Kruglovsky and Seredkinsky village councils were abolished, Prosekovsky village council was formed.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of July 31, 1958, the district center of the village Marayskoye was renamed Mostovskoye; at the same time, the village of Mostovskoye was renamed Maloye Mostovskoye. Village councils were renamed.
By the decision of the Kurgan regional executive committee No. 487 dated November 12, 1959 from the Malomostovsky village council to the Novotroitsk village council are listed: Bazhenova village, Bogdanova village, Dmitrievka village.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of February 1, 1963, the Mosty district was abolished, and its territory was transferred to the enlarged Vargashinsky rural region .
