Biography
1957 - graduated from the philological faculty of Leningrad State University .
Since 1957 - a researcher at the Karachay-Cherkess Scientific Research Institute of History, Philology and Economics (now KCHIGI [1] ), head of the literature and folklore sector, head of the literature department of the peoples of the KCR. [2]
1973 - defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philology on the topic "National Art Traditions and the Development of Narrative Genres of Adyghe Literature ". [3]
Since 1985 - professor.
Vice President and Academician of the Adyghe International Academy of Sciences (AMAS) [4] . Member of the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation, member of the European Society of Caucasus Studies , member of scientists and dissertation councils.
He has about 200 scientific papers on the formation and development of the Circassian and other genetically close literature of Karachay-Cherkessia and the North Caucasus, and takes part in fundamental research. Engaged in the collection, publication and study of folklore of Circassians Circassians.
Honored Scientist of Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Adygea [5] . Laureate of the International Kandurov Prize. She was awarded with medals and the Order of Friendship of Peoples .
