Biography
From the hereditary nobles of the Tver province. Landowner of Rzhevsky Uyezd (1052 tithes ), landowner of the city of Rzhev .
He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow University (1893).
After graduation, he entered the service of the Zemsky chief of the Staritsky district , then moved to the same position in Rzhevsky district and was in it until 1906. He was elected the vowel of the Rzhevsky district (since 1900) and Tver provincial (since 1903) Zemstvo assemblies , the Rzhevsky district leader of the nobility (1906-1911) and the chairman of the Rzhevsky district zemstvo council (1911-1913). In addition, he was an honorary magistrate and member of the Rzhevsky district school council. He rose to the rank of college adviser .
In 1912 he was elected a member of the State Duma from the Tver province. He was a member of the Octobrist faction, after its split - into the group of Zemstvo-Octobrists. Also included in the Progressive block . He was a member of the commissions: land, on hunting, on the execution of the state list of income and expenses, on communication lines and agricultural.
After the February Revolution participated in the State Conference in Moscow .
Fate after 1917 is unknown. He was married, had seven children.
