About the album
The musicians began work on the album in 2007 and continued it until the end of 2013 . During this time, songs from the upcoming album - "White Clouds", "I'm Leaving", "More Than Love" - were already sounded at the radio stations. In the spring of 2013 , the group recorded several songs in the studio of the production center of Igor Matvienko . The rock singer Arthur Berkut , who worked with Sergei Mazayev in the Autograph group [1] , took part in the recording of the song “Fire and Ice”. In July 2013 , the album’s official website announced the release of the album in the near future [2] . The mastering of the album was worked by multiple Grammy Award sound engineer Bob Ludwig [3]
Music Critic Reviews
The music columnist for the Internet newspaper Newslab.ru Sergey Mezenov notes:
| ... "Winter", in which the group continues to elegantly grow foul (the process started by the third disc, "I Choose You"), beautifully demonstrates the capabilities of the "Code of Ethics". There is a harsh disco rock ("Cuckoo", "The world is not new", "For you"), and a pensive pop rock with a transparent as a tear guitar ("White clouds", "More than love"), and sweeping ballads (“I'm leaving”) arranged using saxophone and gospel choir (“Fire and Ice”), and a relaxed tropicana (“Blue Sky of Yokohama”). Nothing truly outstanding, but all is good. Perhaps this is also the reason for a somewhat condescending attitude towards the team - instead of trying to invent something incredible, Sergey Mazaev, companions, prefer year after year simply and with dignity to play the music that they really like. And this approach can be respected - all the more so if you still listen to the Code of Ethics, at least on the Winter album, at least at the upcoming concert, it will quickly become clear that there is something to listen to.
