Biography
1972-1974 - worked as a teacher in a rural school.
1974-1976 - served in the army.
1982 - graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. VI Lenin (Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology).
1987 - defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences on the topic "Diagnosis of professional fitness of young people for pedagogical activities" [2] .
1996 - defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences on the topic "The theoretical basis for the development of the teacher's creative individuality" [3] .
2006—2008 - Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Smolensk region of the 1st convocation.
Member of the Expert Council on Education and Science of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
