The lake is stretched from north to south. The shores are low, rocky, covered with mixed forest. There are 8 islands on the lake with a total area of 0.3 km².
The main inflow is carried out by the waters of forest streams. Drain - to Lake Sula during the spring and autumn floods.
The bottom is mainly covered with green silty sediments; stony-sandy soils prevail along the coasts. Higher aquatic vegetation is represented by reed in the bays.
The lake is inhabited by vendace, pike, perch, whitefish, bream, roach, burbot.
