Chashinsky district is an administrative-territorial unit in the Ural , Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, which existed in 1923-1963. The center is the village of Chashi .

Chashinsky district was formed as part of the Kurgan district of the Ural region in November 1923.
In 1930, the district division in the USSR was canceled and the district became directly subordinate to the Ural region.
On January 17, 1934, the Chashinsky district became part of the Chelyabinsk region.
In February 1943, the Chashinsky district became part of the Kurgan region. At that time, the district included 22 village councils: ABannikovsky, Belousovsky, Brylinsky, Zhikinsky, Zhitnikovsky, Zaroslinsky, Itkulsky, Kamagansky, Kozlovsky, Kosobrodsky, Lebyazhyevsky, Loktinsky, Mendersky, Mogilevsky-1, Mogilevsky-2, Novoikovsky, Pustovsky, Pustovsky, Novoikovsky, Pustovsky, Novoikovsky, Pustovsky, Novoikovsky, Poyevsky, Tukmansky, Chashinsky and Chimeevsky.
On June 14, 1954 Belousovsky, Zhikinsky, Ikovsky, Itkulsky, Kozlovsky and Mogilevsky-1 s / s were abolished. At the same time, Mogilevsky-2 and Chimeevsky s / s were merged into Mogilevsky s / s.
On November 24, 1955, the towns of Krasny Oktyabr and Okunevsky s / s were transferred from the Yurgamysh district to Chashinsky.
On February 18, 1960, the Zaroslinsky and Saltosaray s / s were abolished. On August 27, 1962, the Tukmansky and Mendersky s / s were abolished, and the Mogilevsky and Lebyazhievsky s / s merged into the Chimeevsky s / s.
On February 1, 1963, the Chashinsky district was abolished, and its entire territory was transferred to the Kargapolsky district .
