History

The team was formed in 2003 by entrepreneur Sergei Arbuzov. Having won the Championship of the Moscow Region in the next season, Fortune got the right to take part in the LFL tournament.

In 2005, Fortuna won the championship and the LFL cup in the Moscow region, and in the final tournament among all the zones took 3rd place and got the right to play in the second division , becoming the second Mytishchi football club after Torpedo , which failed get professional status. In the same year, the club management issued a line of brand attributes and began the construction of the club base. In connection with obtaining professional status, the club changed its logo, as the previous logo was similar to part of the Twente club logo, and also added the word “professional” to its name.

In 2006, the club issues shares for fans, offering to redeem a stake in a professional club. In addition, a major advertising campaign is taking place in the city, within the framework of which portraits of football players were hung at advertising stands on the bridge on Olympic Avenue . An interview with Fortune footballers is published in the issue of Esquire magazine, dedicated to the upcoming World Cup . Despite the upgrade, Fortuna loses a significant part of the audience due to moving from the Torpedo city stadium first to Moscow stadiums and then to Trud stadium in the village of Pirogovsky and becomes the least visited team in its area. In the Cup of Russia, “Fortune” reached the stage 1/128 of the final, where she lost to Dynamo Vologda. The team took 12th place in the “West” zone of the second division, but due to the stadium’s mismatch with the PFL requirements, it returns to the LFL tournament for the next season. In the offseason, the club again planned to change its emblem and offered options for fans on its official website, however, the idea was never realized.

In the next 2007 Fortuna took the 12th place already in the framework of the LFL tournament . Once again, the team managed to become one of the leaders among the amateur league teams only in 2008 , when it took 3rd place. In the same year, she began to play again at the Torpedo stadium, but still did not find much sympathy among the townspeople, which was caused by the appearance in the city of professional sports clubs: Atlanta and IFC Mytishchi . The club refused the application for participation in the tournament of the second division in 2009 due to the outbreak of the financial crisis . The further existence of the team was called into question, “Fortune” refused the traditional participation in the winter tournament in memory of Gulyaev .

In the off-season in Fortune, the head coach changed - he was Vadim Garanin , appointed instead of the playing coach Alexei Shchepinov , who transferred to the position of team leader. The club was tasked with ending the 2009 season in the top three. The result of the season was fifth. At the end of the 2009 season, the club ceased to exist. In the 2010 season, Mytishchi in the LFL championship was already represented by FC Mytishchi-TsDYUS.
