Biography
At the beginning of World War II he worked on the collective farm. In 1949 he graduated from the Theater and Music School. P. I. Tchaikovsky in Ulan-Ude. In 1956 he graduated from the Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky .
He worked at the Radio Committee as a literary editor. He began to translate works of fiction from Russian into Buryat. They translated works by Pushkin (“The Tale of the Priest ...”, “Boris Godunov”), Gogol (“The Overcoat”, “The Inspector”), Gorky (“The Enemies”, “Vassa Zheleznova”, “The Last”), Sholokhov (“Fate of a Man "), Poems by Marshak, Mikhalkov, Barto, as well as" The Knight in Tiger's Skin "by Shota Rustaveli.
Along with translations, he worked on his own poems, short stories and essays. They published the books “My Tugnuy Spacious” (verses), “The Chairman of a Collective Farm” (essay), “Huldai Margen” (Uliger) in collaboration with Dasha Cherninov. In 1974 a collection of his poems "Bread" was published. He published poems, fairy tales, stories, plays for children; the author of texts of many songs popular in Buryatia, among them: “Sister and brother”, “Take care of your love”, “Song of a soldier” and others.
For many years he worked in the editorial board of the magazine "Baikal".
