Biography
Bokey’s upbringing and training was led by Kazybek-biy. He owned a significant territory from the suburbs of Turkestan (the city of Ikan) in the south and south to the banks of the river. Nura in Central Kazakhstan. 13 volosts obeyed him.
Formally, under his leadership were the genera of the Karakeseks ( Karkaraly external district ), Tortuylites ( Bayanaul district ) and Kuandyks ( Akmola district ).
The real power of Bokey Khan and his sons extended only to the Karakessek tribes. In 1815, the tsarist government, which sought to achieve a further split in the Middle Zhuz, recognized Sultan Bokey as an independent khan of a part of the Middle Zhuz clans.
In 1817, Bokey Khan died, leaving his eleven sons from six wives.
In 1822, the khanate power in the Middle Zhuz was liquidated, the territory of the khanate was divided into separate districts, which passed under the control of the sultans appointed by the tsarist authorities.
