Lyubov Alekseevna Kulakova (born June 9, 1920 , Moscow , USSR - 1942 , USSR ) - Soviet skier and skier , 3-time USSR champion in cross-country skiing (1938: 5 km race and 3x5 km relay; 1941: race on 5 km). Winner of the All-Union Alpine Skiing Competition. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1942).

Partisan of the Great Patriotic War , died in the battles for their homeland. Posthumously awarded the Order of the Patriotic War I degree.
Biography
Born in a working class family. She studied at the Moscow school N 435.
Since 1935, she trained with A. G. Penyazev. With the outbreak of World War II, volunteers went into the armed forces as a ski instructor of a separate motorized rifle brigade. In March 1942 she was sent to the partisans and was a scout. In the battle she was mortally wounded by a shell fragment.
She was buried in a mass grave near the village of Kasplya .
