Biography
Born on March 5, 1922 in the city of Belozersk of the Cherepovets district of the Novgorod province, now the Vologda region. In 1924 he moved with his family to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). There he graduated from high school No. 222 (former Petrishule ) in 1939, entered the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute named after V.I. Lenin.
In October 1940 he was called up by the Oktyabrsky District Military Commissariat of the city of Leningrad to the Red Army, and served in the Transcaucasian Military District. On the fronts of World War II from August 1942, he fought on the North Caucasus Front, in the Separate Primorsky Army. Senior ranger of the 279th separate anti-aircraft division of the 20th Mountain Division, Corporal Nadporozhsky participant in the battle for the Caucasus , Novorossiysk-Taman and Crimean offensive operations. By August 1943, according to his input, the anti-aircraft platoon in which he served shot down 8 enemy aircraft. Since May 1944 - Komsomol of the infantry battalion of the 67th Infantry Regiment in the 20th Infantry Division on the 1st Belorussian Front. In July 1944, in the offensive battles of the Belarusian strategic operation, he was seriously injured and was cured for almost 5 months. In August 1945, demobilized.
He continued his studies at the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, graduated in 1950 with a degree in automation and telemechanics.
since 1950 - at the Electrokhimpribor plant (Sverdlovsk-45, now Lesnoy): shift manager, head of the technical, production and technical departments, workshop head, deputy chief engineer, chief engineer; in 1971-1978 - Director of the plant (plant); in 1979-1997 - at the Ministry of Medium Engineering (Moscow): Deputy Head of the 6th Main Directorate (GU), head of the special sector of the 6th GU, head of the general technical and conversion department of the Department of Nuclear Ammunition Production of the Ministry of Atomic Energy and Industry of the Russian Federation.
He contributed to the development and serial production of many types of nuclear weapons and contributed to strengthening the country's defense capabilities. Under his leadership, major technical measures were taken to introduce new equipment and technology, the existing ones were reconstructed and new facilities were organized, an automated product quality management system was introduced, the pace of development of nuclear weapons for almost all types of the Armed Forces of the country was significantly accelerated.
