Biography
Born on October 3 ( 16 ), 1906 in the village of Lebyazhye (now Lebyazhsky District , Kirov Region , Russia ).
He graduated from UPI named after SM Kirov (1935), mechanical engineer.
Since 1935 - at Uralvagonzavod , in 1949-1969 - director.
Under the leadership of I. V. Okunev a diversified machine-building enterprise was created. [1] .
He died on October 5, 1972 . Buried in Nizhny Tagil .
