Lekomtsev, Vladislav Alekseevich

Vladislav Alekseevich Lekomtsev (born December 8, 1994 , the village of Romashkino, Udmurtia , Russian Federation ) is a Russian athlete. Two-time champion of the 2014 Paralympic Games in biathlon and cross-country skiing , a three-time bronze medalist of these games in cross-country skiing [1] . Seven-time World Champion in cross-country skiing and biathlon for people with musculoskeletal disorders. Four-time World Cup winner and winner of the Crystal Globe special award. Honored Master of Sports of Russia ( March 11, 2014 ) [2] .

Biography

Vladislav Lekomtsev helped the elders in his native village to harvest and lost a hand that fell into the mechanism of the agricultural machine. Playing sports helped him to regain himself in an active life [1] .

Since 2010, he has been a member of the Russian sports team for the sport of persons with musculoskeletal disorders (discipline - cross-country skiing and biathlon).

He graduated from Udmurt State University with a degree in psychology.

Sportsman-instructor of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams".
